This privacy policy explains how Xenith Ventures ("Xenith," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit xenith.vc, contact us, or otherwise interact with our firm. Information we collect
We collect three categories of information.
Information you give us. Your name, email address, company, role, and anything you write in a pitch, memo, or message you send us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we may collect technical details: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This is standard server-log information.
Information from third parties. If you reach out via email, social, or an introduction, we may receive your name and contact details from that channel.
How we use information
We use information to (a) respond to inbound from founders and partners, (b) evaluate potential investments, (c) operate and improve the site, (d) send you the newsletter you subscribed to, and (e) comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information to retarget ads or feed third-party data brokers.
How we share information
We share information only with: (a) service providers who help us run the site or send email (e.g., hosting, analytics, newsletter platform); (b) legal, accounting, or compliance advisors when required; and (c) acquirers, regulators, or law enforcement if compelled by law or in connection with a corporate transaction.
Our service providers are bound by confidentiality and may only use your information to provide services to us.
Cookies and analytics
We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies for site functionality (e.g., remembering your theme preference) and basic analytics (e.g., understanding which pages get read). You can disable cookies in your browser. The site will still work, though some preferences may not persist.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, plus any period required by law. Newsletter subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Pitch memos and founder correspondence are kept for our records and may be retained for the life of the firm.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@xenith.vc. We respond within 30 days.
Residents of California, the EEA, the UK, and other jurisdictions with specific privacy laws have additional rights under those laws and can contact us using the same address.
Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect information we collect. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach occurs that affects your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be posted prominently on this page.
